Stewardship Update Thank you everyone who has pledged to increase their giving - a total increase of £27,000. Forms to instruct your bank to alter the amount of your Standing Order to S. Martins are available at the back of church.
Cushions are now provided for those who find the pews uncomfortable. Please ask a sidesperson for a cushion and return after Mass.
Quiz Night: Saturday 25th January, 7.15pm in the Church Hall. Tickets £12, available from Jacqueline Alderton, Lesley Knee or the Parish Office. Includes a fish and chip supper. Please bring your own drinks and glasses.
Movies with Martin: The next meeting of the S. Martin’s Film Club will be from 4pm-6pm on Sunday 26th January. Our film will be Mary Poppins. All 11-18 year olds welcome!
Vintage Afternoon Tea: Wednesday 5th February, 2.00 - 4.00pm in the Church Hall. Tickets £8.50 from the Parish Office or an Outlookers committee member.
Christmas Cards: Please check the box for any Christmas cards as the box will be removed this week.

Church Accident Report Forms are now available at the back of Church. Please use the form to report incidents in Church that lead to a person (or persons) being injured, especially when follow-up action is needed. Please give the form to the Parish Office.

Gift Aid: Please use the Gift Aid envelopes provided in the pews when donating loose change. This adds 25% to any donation.
Men’s Pilgrimage to Walsingham 7th-9th February 2020
A great opportunity for men to get away for some space to relax, to think, to pray and enjoy time together in a beautiful village in north Norfolk, staying at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Please return application forms to Fr Simon.
Crisp Recycling Scheme: S Martin’s is now a collection point for Terracycle ‘Walkers crisp recycling scheme’. Please help us collect as many empty crisp packets (all brands) to send to them, which would otherwise end up in landfill. Green collection box is located in the Church Hall. Thank you.

Bell tower: Parents are reminded the Bell tower is a place for babies, toddlers and very young children. All children MUST be accompanied by as responsible adult at all times. Unaccompanied children will be asked to re-join their parents.
PARISH OFFICE QUIET DAY Please observe the Parish Office quiet day EVERY Wednesday. Do not disturb!
NEW CHOIR MEMBERS New members for the 9.15am choir, especially adults, are very welcome. Rehearsals Thursdays, 7.45-9.15pm. Do consider coming to these and see what is involved. It would be lovely to see you!

Supporting the Foodbank
Please support our Food Bank Depot in the Church. When you go shopping, buy one extra item to support families in our borough who are struggling.
NB: Please check the "Use By" date on your donation.
We Particularly need tinned meat, tinned fish, sugar (500g), UHT milk, juice & squash (max 1 litre), jars of jam, mashed potato (dry), noodles, tinned spaghetti & bags for life. Items can be left in the collection bins at the back of the Lady Chapel.
