The Mass (Holy Communion) is our most important and central opportunity to meet and worship together as a Christian community. At St Martin's we are fortunate that Mass is celebrated on each day of the week, at varying times of the day, providing many opportunities to participate, whatever your daily routine. There are four main Masses at the weekend, each offering it's own style of worship to suit all needs.
Saturday 6:00pm - Vigil Mass of Sunday
A relaxed Family service with hymns
Sunday 8:00am - Mass
A quiet, said service
Sunday 9:15am - Sung Mass
A traditional service for all the family, with hymns, choir. Usually, there is Young Church for children and coffee is served in the church hall after the service, but both these activities are currently suspended.
Sunday 11:15am - Mass with Hymns
A less formal family service with music. Usually, there is Young Church for children and an opportunity to meet over a glass of wine after the service, but both these activities are currently suspended, as is the Parade Mass that normally takes place on the first Sunday of each month, during term-time.
