The Martinmas Fayre
Our much-cherished Martinmas Fayre will be held in the church hall on Saturday, 18th November. The event will be opened by Fr Robert at 10:30am and will close at 2:30pm.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us at St Martin's and in the wider community to work together to create a highly enjoyable day - as well as raise much needed funds.
The success of our Martinmas Fayre depends on your support.
We will be grateful for any donations for the tombola, raffle, auction or bric-a-brac stalls, including:
Wine, spirits and beerr
Chocolate, sweets, boxes of biscuits
Nearly new toys, games, Books
DVD’s and CD’s
Please kindly leave all donations in the donation box in the church hall foyer or with Gill in the office.
On the day itself, we will be grateful for donations for the cake and jam stall, especially homemade cakes, scones, cookies, biscuits and sweets or any preserves of jam, marmalade or pickles.
Any donations of prizes for the raffle and silent auction will be much appreciated.
Raffle tickets will be available to buy on the day and, two weeks before, at Thursday Lunches,
Toddlers Group as well as after the 9.15am Mass on a Sunday.
A wide range of refreshments will be available.
So please put the date in your diary and tell your friends, family and neighbours and come along,
have a great day and support St Martins Church.
Please note: this will be a cash only event.
