The Hillingdon Foodbank is experiencing a significant increase in demand as some familes and individuals are hid particularly hard by the economic downturn.
Children from the most disadvantaged households often depend on school meals to supplement the food they receive at home. The on-going closure of schools is therefore further stoking requests for emergency food packages.
In order to maintain our stocks, we need your food donations now more than ever.
While the church is closed to visitors, the Foodbank collection bins at St Martin's have been relocated to the Sainsbury's Local store at 48, High Street, Ruislip.
We are particularly in need of tinned meat, tinned fish, sugar, jam, long-life milk and long-life fruit juice. Carrier bags are also in short supply.
Thank you for anything you are able to donate.
