Singers and Worship Band

Our Singers and Worship Band contribute to the musical life of the 11.15am service. This service contains the best of traditional and contemporary musical worship.

The 11.15am Mass, which is less formal than 9.15am in style, is accompanied by piano and organ, and the Singers meet at 10.45am each week in the Bec Room to rehearse for the Mass.  The Singers also join with the robed 9.15am Choir for special services and for events like the Carol Service and for leading the worship in Holy Week and at Easter.

The Singers and Worship Band play a key part in leading the congregation at the all-age Parade Services on the first Sunday of the month during school term time. The Band meets at 10.45am in the Church to prepare before the Parade Service. The Worship Band also meets for additional rehearsals by arrangement.

Young people and adults who participate in this service are able to follow the Royal School of Church Music's Voice for Life Scheme run on Thursday evenings, by arrangement with the Director of Music.

If you play an instrument or sing and would be interested in joining the Worship Band or Singers then please get in touch with our Director of Music, via the Parish Office for more information. Alternatively you can just come along to the Bec Room at 10.45am before the service.
